Job summary

Ferguson in Stockton, CA is hiring a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for our Distribution Center. The role starts at $24 per hour with a Monday–Friday day shift (6am start) and involves pulling orders, stocking material, and operating material handling equipment. Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic data entry, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be comfortable working outdoors. Forklift experience is strongly preferred; pre-employment drug and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.
• Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required*

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components
• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
