Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for our Stockton, CA Distribution Center. Starting pay is $24.00/hr on a Monday–Friday day shift (6am start). You will operate equipment, pick/pack orders, and stock incoming materials, using WMS to record transactions.

Responsibilities include receiving, verifying, and organizing stock, while working outdoors in all weather conditions. Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
• General computer skills for basic data entry
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred
• Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components
• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
