Job summary

Ferguson is seeking Pipe Yard Associates in Mansfield, TX to perform outdoor yard tasks, safely operate forklifts and yard equipment, receive and stock materials, and prepare customer orders. Schedule: multiple shifts; pay range $15.00-$36.49 per hour; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO.

Candidates should be physically active, able to lift up to 50 lbs, work overtime, maintain accuracy, and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Outdoor work and physical activity; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior warehouse/yard/distribution experience preferred.
• Experience operating PIT equipment (Combi-lift or Moffett) is a plus.
• Experience with forklifts preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners or distribution technology.
• Reliable attendance in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to safety policies and PPE.
• Detail-oriented, team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and yard equipment to move and load materials.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials.
• Stock and organize yard inventory for efficient flow.
• Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Prioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines.
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety per SOPs.
• Keep yard clean, organized, hazard-free.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Participate in safety observations and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
