Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, you will drive inventory accuracy, coordinate shipments, operate forklifts, and mentor staff while upholding OSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; forklift operation ability essential.
• Experience leading a warehouse or outdoor operation; supervisory track record preferred.
• Ability to use warehouse systems and inventory management tools; familiarity with P21.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75+ lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all pipe yard activities to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Directly supervise, coach, and develop associates, enforcing performance and safety goals.
• Champion inventory integrity through cycle counts, verifications, and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment with strict OSHA compliance and company policies.

We are seeking a dedicated and hands‑on Pipe Yard Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Louisville branch. Your Career in Operations Leadership

Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily pipe yard operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials. This is an essential leadership role where your oversight of team performance, workflow, and inventory processes will directly drive our branch’s success.

• Operational Leader: You will plan and oversee all pipe yard activities, ensuring every incoming and outgoing shipment meets our quality and accuracy standards.

• Team Developer: You will directly supervise, coach, and develop your associates, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable to performance and safety goals.

• Inventory Expert: You will champion inventory integrity by managing cycle counts, verification processes, and documentation accuracy.

• Safety Champion: You will maintain a safe, organized environment, ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.

• Working Manager: You are ready to lead from the front—operating forklifts, performing associate duties during peak times, and working alongside your team to meet objectives.

What You Bring to Our Team (Essentials for Success)

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or materials handling environment, with a strong preference for pipe yard or similar outdoor operations.

• Leadership Proven: Demonstrated success in a supervisory role, including hiring, training, and coaching team members.

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to use warehouse systems, inventory management tools, and related technology, specifically P21.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75+ lbs with assistance), stand/walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks like bending, kneeling, and reaching.

• Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent required; must be able to safely operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
