Job summary

G.A. West & Co. in Decatur, AL is hiring Pipe Welders for 4-6 month assignments, with potential for extension. Candidates must read weld symbols and drawings and be able to pass ASME weld tests using stick, TIG, flux core and MIG processes.

• Able to work at heights, on scaffolds, in confined spaces and in plant environments.

G.A. West & Co. is hiring Pipe Welders in Decatur, AL. These assignments are expected to last anywhere from 4-6 months, possibly longer. More details below:

• Must be able to understand weld symbols and drawings
• Capable of passing ASME weld test with stick, tig, flux core and mig processes
• Capable of welding various metals: stainless, carbon, chrome, hastelloy, monel, inconel, nickel etc.
• Capable and proficient in handling and using all associated power tools in a safe manner
• Capable of passing NDT exam performed by radiography, UT, Mag, Particle and Dye Penetrate
• Capable of working at heights, scaffolds, confined spaces and in plant environments
