Job summary

G.A. West & Co. in Decatur, AL is hiring Pipe Welders for 4-6 month assignments, with potential for extension. Candidates must read weld symbols and drawings and be able to pass ASME weld tests using stick, TIG, flux core and MIG processes.

Qualifications

• Must understand weld symbols and drawings.
• Able to pass ASME weld tests with stick, TIG, flux core and MIG.
• Able to weld various metals: stainless, carbon, chrome, hastelloy, monel, inconel, nickel.
• Capable of handling and using all associated power tools safely.
• Capable of passing NDT exams (radiography, UT, Mag, Dye Penetrant).
• Able to work at heights, on scaffolds, in confined spaces and in plant environments.
