Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and other technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Weld in various positions including horizontal, vertical, overhead, and fixed positions depending on project requirements.
• Cut, grind, bevel, and prepare carbon steel and stainless steel pipes for welding to ensure proper fit-up and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in welding techniques for carbon steel and stainless steel (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW).
• Ability to weld in multiple positions.
• Must pass an in-house weld test within time and quality standards.
