Job summary

Puyenpa is seeking a skilled Mechanical Pipe Welder to join our construction team. The role involves welding mechanical piping systems on commercial or industrial projects, reading blueprints, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Location: DMV Area with travel to various sites. Full-Time employment with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a federal/commercial portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pipe Welder or Mechanical Pipe Welder.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications.
• Knowledge of welding methods and pipe fitting processes.
• Ability to work in multiple welding positions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding using TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and piping drawings.
• Cut, bevel, and fit pipes and fittings before welding.
• Install and weld mechanical piping systems.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Follow OSHA and always company safety guidelines.
• Work closely with pipefitters and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
