Job summary

Ecolutia Services is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder and Fabricator to join our Port Arthur, TX team. The role involves reading blueprints, welding pipes, and fabricating components with TIG, MIG, and stick methods to meet project specifications.

You will operate plasma cutting, press brake, and threading machines, travel to project sites as needed, and uphold high standards of quality and safety on every assignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pipe welder or similar role.
• Proficient in welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
• Experienced and skilled in Stainless Steel Welding.
• Familiarity with codes and standards related to pipe welding.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Ability to operate pipe threading machines and other relevant tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to travel for short periods of time to our project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding tasks using various techniques and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes according to specifications
• Operate forklift and other machinery as needed
• Utilize plasma cutting and press brake machines for fabrication
• Perform machining tasks as required
• Other general light construction as required
