Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking an experienced welder for pipe fabrication and field support in Port Arthur, TX. You will read blueprints, set up welding operations, and perform Stick and TIG welds on carbon steel, stainless, and chrome piping.

The role requires familiarity with 2G/4G/6G welding, the ability to weld stainless steel, and working with pumps; TWIC and a valid Texas driver’s license are required. Safety PPE will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years welding experience on industrial size and grade pipe (Schedules 40, 80, 160).
• Must read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Must be able to pass a weld test and weld in 2G, 4G, and 6G conditions.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding.
• Layout, position, aligns, cut, assemble, and fit metal components.
• Welds piping systems using appropriate welding procedures.
• Identify safety risks and requirements.
