Phillips Tank & Structure in Braddock, PA is hiring a full-time Fab Shop Welder with pipe welding experience to join our nationwide tank construction team. You will read blueprints, set up welds, and weld components in multiple positions to meet project specs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18-years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Be willing to authorize background check and drug testing.
• Have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be willing to pass welding tests for stick and flux core.
• Good communication and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and procedures.
• Determine welding method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications and drawings.
• Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Read measurements with calipers, rulers, and other devices.
• Inspect welds and perform basic safety and non-destructive checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a safe condition.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and support temporary erection as needed.
