Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking dynamic, motivated, career minded individuals to join our expanding team. Pipe Welder role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and welding piping, piping systems, equipment and industrial systems at multiple job sites.

Candidates must have 3+ years of TIG and Stick welding experience, pass a welding test, be able to travel, follow instructions, stay detail-oriented and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of TIG and Stick pipe welding experience
• Ability to pass required pipe welding test
• Ability to multi-task and follow written and oral instructions
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Must adhere to all company policies and be able to travel to multiple job sites with varied schedules

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and weld piping, piping systems, equipment and industrial systems
• Recognizes properties of welding rods and fluxes used in welding metals
• Assembles and installs metal pipe and pipe fittings (carbon steel and stainless steel)
• Removes slag and rough spots with grinder, file, or scraper
• Determines equipment and welding method using metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques
