Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Pipe Welder to fit and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping for industrial projects at the Riggs Fabrication Facility in Greenville, TX. The role requires reading drawings, following weld procedures, and producing high-quality welds that meet code requirements.

Key duties include FCAW and GMAW welding, reading isometric drawings, fabricating piping, inspecting welds, and operating grinders and beveling equipment safely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience.
• Ability to pass Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
• 2G/3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred
• 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required
• Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Pipe Welder is responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems used in industrial and construction projects. This position requires the ability to work safely, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality welds that meet applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements.

• Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial, power, semiconductor, mining, or manufacturing environments.
• Current welding certifications or documented weld qualifications.
• Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• High attention to detail.
• Must be a quick learner and motivated.
• Must be able to work as a team and solve problems.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• This position may require travel to various project sites. Mostly outdoors, potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Construction environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Walking in uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day.
• Standing/sitting for long periods, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs & ladders, and kneeling.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
