Job summary

Loenbro, a trusted construction lifecycle partner, is seeking a Pipe Welder at the Riggs Fabrication Facility in Albuquerque, NM. You will fit and weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping for industrial and construction projects, reading drawings and meeting codes.

Requires 3+ years pipe welding, 2G/3G, ability to pass Loenbro welding test, 6G preferred, strong weld symbols knowledge, physical ability to lift 50 pounds; competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
• 2G,3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred
• 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required
• Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and weld procedures.
• Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping
• Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Position Summary

The Pipe Welder is responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems used in industrial and construction projects. This position requires the ability to work safely, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality welds that meet applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial, power, semiconductor, mining, or manufacturing environments.
• Current welding certifications or documented weld qualifications.
• Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience
