Job summary

Equiliem in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Pipe Welder to perform precision MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and spool pieces.

You will read tape measures, align fittings, and weld to exacting standards, with safety goals and teamwork. This role requires 3–5 years of welding experience, a welding hood and PPE for the test, and the ability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes and components.
• Weld outlets and couplings onto carbon steel pipe.
• Complete precision pipe-to-pipe welds and assemble pipe sections.
• Perform specialty welding on spool pieces, pipes, fittings, and related components.
• Inspect completed welds for defects, splits, seams, and other quality issues.
• Verify proper alignment and fit-up of fittings and pipe components.
• Maintain consistent weld quality and follow established specifications and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe welding station.
• Follow all applicable safety and quality standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and repair needs.
• Complete required online training and documentation using standard computer systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support production requirements.

Job Summary

The Pipe Welder performs precision MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe, spool pieces, couplings, and related components.
