Montana Materials & Construction, a CRH Company in Helena, MT, seeks a ground worker to join our utility crew. You will lay and/or dig up pipe, work outdoors, and grow skills with on‑the‑job training on utility equipment—from conduit to water and sewer lines.

No prior experience required; training and advancement opportunities are provided. You will travel between sites, uphold safety standards, and contribute to building infrastructure for our communities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and site specifications.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Must have U.S. work authorization and travel 50%+ seasonally.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Locate utilities before digging.
• Shovel earth to prepare trenches for pipes.
• Set up laser levels and pipe lasers as needed.
• Maintain time and material records.
• Travel between locations and assist team as required.
