Job summary

This production operator role focuses on threading, pipe cutting and packaging in a dusty, steady environment. • High School diploma or GED required
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• Experience with operating automated equipment preferred
• Ability to read precision measurement devices
• Flexible schedule including possible overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Set up threading/pipe cutting/packaging machines during size changes
• Ensure threading and cutting meet quality on work orders
• Read work orders for production specs
• Back-up for hydrotester and packaging operators as needed
• Maintain machines and report malfunctions
• Communicate with supervisor/engineer about issues
• Follow PPE policies and 5S procedures
• Assist in changeovers and maintenance
