Job summary

The North Weld County Water District in Colorado is seeking a motivated team member to support field crews, install waterlines, meters, and appurtenances. The role emphasizes safety, problem solving, and strong communication in both spoken and written English.

You will assist with leak repairs, potholing, reclamation efforts, and customer service while operating heavy equipment and performing skilled excavation. A CDL and background screening may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with heavy equipment and construction processes preferred.
• Must pass background and drug screening and have valid CDL if applicable.
• Ability to work closely with field crews and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of waterlines, meters and appurtenances.
• Assist with leak repair, potholing and related field activities.
• Contribute to reclamation and customer service consistently.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform skilled excavation and transport equipment; maintain gear.
