Job summary

Cardinal Civil Contracting in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Pipelayer to install sewer, water, and storm drain systems using laser guidance and heavy equipment. This full-time role requires strong work ethic and reliability.

You will set pipe to line and grade, read grade stakes, operate pipe lasers, cut concrete pipe and fittings, dig trenches, backfill and compact, and coordinate with foremen and helpers while following OSHA safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in underground utility or civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, and join concrete, ductile iron, and PVC pipe.
• Set drainage structures to grade and slope.
• Read grade stakes and verify slope using lasers.
• Dig trenches, backfill, and compact earth.
• Coordinate with crew and traffic control on site.
