Qualifications

• 1–2 years of pipe laying experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used on heavy civil projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in a heavy construction environment with safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction site to eliminate hazards.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, or grade earth to specifications.
• Lay water, storm water, and sanitary sewer lines and other utilities.
• Operate hand and power tools, vibratory compactors, hoists, and basic survey equipment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
