Southland Holdings is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman for a major heavy civil project in Cape Coral, FL. You will lead the field crew, oversee pipe installation, water mains, fire hydrants, and sanitary sewer lines, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Required are 5+ years in Water & Sewer Utilities, 2+ years as a Foreman, FDOT experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license. OSHA 30 and CPR certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Water & Sewer Utility experience.
• 2+ years Utility Foreman experience.
• Experience with large diameter storm drains, water mains, dewatering, well point system.
• FDOT experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Extensive knowledge of utility tools and equipment ( excavators, trench boxes, pumps, backhoes, loaders ).
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate crew members’ work.

Responsabilités

• Run main line machine for the installation of a pipe.
• Provide overall leadership and direct the activities of field crew employees.
• Oversees, instructs, and participates in the installation and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer lines, etc.
• Perform any required testing for installed systems
• Responsible for crew performance in meeting quality and safety standards
• Fill out daily reports including crew member’s hours , equipment hours, appropriate cost codes, and production quantities
• Communicate effectively with Project Superintendent and Project Managers
• Participate in safety-related training programs to increase skill set and knowledge base.
• Perform jobsite quality control checks.
