A reputable construction firm in North Carolina is seeking a dependable Pipe Foreman to coordinate pipeline operations and oversee a crew of workers. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in highway or utility construction and at least three years as a Pipe Foreman. Responsibilities include supervising the layout, installation, and assembly of various types of utility pipes while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This full-time position often requires over 50 hours of work per week and involves occasional travel to project sites.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience with highway/utility construction.
3+ years’ experience as a Pipe Foreman.
Must be certified to enter confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must have 30 hour OSHA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Coordinate pipeline operations and oversee pipe crew.
Supervise pipe project layout, installation, and assembly.
Ensure crew maintains professional relations with stakeholders.
Develop plans for pipe installation in cooperation with the Superintendent.
Conduct daily checks of materials and equipment.
