Job summary

ARMI Hygienic Systems is seeking skilled pipefitters to join our growing team. You will interpret blueprints and isometric drawings, pull measurements, and cut/thread pipe to specifications for piping systems on customer sites.

Travel is required 100% of the time; nights and weekends may be necessary. Trade school or equivalent is preferred, with a focus on safety and precision in a dynamic field environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications for piping layouts.
• Pull measurements and perform takeoffs.
• Draw and interpret isometric drawings; cut and thread pipe to specifications.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings per specifications.
• Inspect and test installed systems; field verification on job sites.

How you will make an impact

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
• Proficient in pulling measurements and making takeoffs
• Draw and interpret isometric drawings
• Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
• Assists with other welders and fitters as needed on job sites
• Cleans up jobsites after completion

What You Need to Succeed

• Trade school and/or 2+ years of drawing isometric drawings
• Ability to travel 100% of the time.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• OSHA 10, preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check
