Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Fabrication Associate in a multi-shift schedule (1st, 2nd, 3rd) to join our pipe fabrication team. You will set up and operate shop machinery to measure, cut, and assemble pipe, ensuring accuracy and safety across the yard and during packing for shipment.

Responsibilities include exact length measurements, threading, and handling pipe bundles, with a focus on efficiency and quality under OSHA-compliant procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
• Outstanding math skills and ability to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience and training operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe per OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and cut random pipe lengths.
• Roll, groove, and thread pipe using band saws, torches and Landis machines.
• Move loose or bundled pipe within the pipe yard.
• Assemble pipe orders in single sticks or bundles and keep supplies organized.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, stacking and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment following OSHA and Ferguson SOPs.
