Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Metal Fabrication Technician to transform sheet metal into precise components on our production floor. You will operate press brake equipment, read blueprints, and apply GD&T to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Expect to use precision tools, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with the team to optimize throughput. Strong safety discipline is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work a full shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T principles.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and shop instruments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols.
• Willingness to work with CNC programming tools and control interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate press brake machinery for precise bends.
• Interpret blueprints and process sheets to meet tolerances.
• Use calipers and micrometers to verify part accuracy during runs.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and support team handoffs.
• Troubleshoot machines and adjust tooling to reduce downtime.
• Apply shop math to calculate bend deductions and parameters.
