Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Groveport, Ohio, is seeking a Fabrication Associate to set up and operate shop machines for pipe fabrication, measure and cut pipe, and assemble orders with accuracy.

You will move and store pipe, follow strict safety guidelines, and maintain supplies in a busy yard environment. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and 0–3 years of related experience, with a daytime schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Outstanding math skills to calculate quantities.
• Experience operating cutting and threading pipe equipment per OSHA regulations preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch, rolling and grooving lengths and threading/beveling.
• Move pipe between locations in the pipe yard.
• Assemble pipe orders and maintain organized supplies.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
