Job summary

Volt is seeking a Machine Operator in West Chester, OH for a full-time contract position. You will measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipe, operate band saws and pipe-threading equipment, and move pipe within the shop and yard.

The role requires attention to safety and accuracy in fabricating and assembling pipe orders. The ideal candidate has experience with machinery and pipe fabrication tools, plus tape measure literacy and an understanding of industrial fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with machinery and pipe fabrication tools.
• Ability to read and use tape measures accurately.
• Understanding of industrial fabrication processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bevel pipe using band saws or torches.
• Thread and bevel pipes with Landis machines.
• Move pipe within shop and yard and maintain organized work areas.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.
• Assist with packaging and shipping of pipe orders.
