Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is hiring an Entry Level Fabrication Associate in Mobile. You will set up shop machines for pipe fabrication, measure and cut pipe to specs, and move orders in the yard, following safety procedures and Ferguson guidelines.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with benefits including health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required, and a positive, inclusive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong math skills and ability to calculate quantities on hand
• Experience or training in operating pipe-cutting/ threading machinery preferred
• Ability to stay focused in fast-paced customer service environment
• Commitment to safety and inclusion in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain shop machines for pipe fabrication
• Measure, record, and cut pipe to specifications
• Move pipe in yard and assemble orders (single sticks or bundles)
• Observe safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, and shipping
• Operate powered equipment following OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures
