Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects in our plant operations and construction environments.

You will review proposals, determine timelines and staffing, manage resources, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires safety awareness, site visits, and collaboration with executives to maintain project documentation and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in construction or plant operations.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage schedules.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Confer with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Examine estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and project schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Review status reports from project personnel and adjust schedules or plans as needed.
• Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits as required.
• Review bids from other firms for contract conformity and determine acceptability.
• Award and administer subcontracts, including final approval of payment.
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
• Advise superintendents and construction managers of contractual rights and obligations.
• Maintain subcontractor status databases and act as liaison with client and subcontractors.
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments according to contract terms.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all events, discussions and issues.
• Provide monthly projections of project status.
• Coordinate project activities with regulatory agencies when applicable.
• Assist other craft workers as needed.
