Job summary

LB Foster is seeking a pipe coater to perform custom hand coating on steel pipe products, following standard work methods and safety practices. The role involves supporting multiple areas of production and meeting on-time shipment targets.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and interpreting work instructions. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year in production; pipe coating experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment.
• Pipe coating experience is a plus, producing coatings on pipe surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Carry out verbal and written instructions from Foreman.
• Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists.
• Read and interpret work instructions and execute per instructions.
• Work with quality and production teams to identify process improvements.
