Job Description

The Team Lead I is responsible for managing complex and occasionally highly complex vendor relationships, assessing vendor training needs, and monitoring vendor performance. The individual monitors staffing levels and workloads, provides coaching and mentoring, and participates in performance reviews.

We are seeking a PIP Team Lead I, II, or Associate Manager to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead and manage a team of 7-10 PIP Adjusters with varying levels of experience. Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversees complex and occasionally highly complex claims involved in appraisal, arbitration, or mediation.
  2. Oversees complex and occasionally highly complex specialized claims (e.g., business interruption, loss of income, E&O policies).
  3. Oversees claims involving Public Adjuster involvement.
  4. Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes.
  5. Summarizes documents and enters information into the claim system.
  6. Maintains advanced knowledge of regional construction types and repair methodologies.
  7. Conducts targeted file examinations, including ride-alongs or sit-alongs.
  8. Conducts calibrations with vendors or staff.
  9. Communicates about claim processes/procedures with employees, leaders, and teams.

Education

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role includes supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal requirements.

Compensation

Base compensation ranges from $75,000 to $109,406, depending on the role level and experience. Total compensation includes base pay plus incentives such as bonuses or commissions.
