Job Description

The Team Lead I is responsible for managing complex and occasionally highly complex vendor relationships, assessing vendor training needs, and monitoring vendor performance. The individual monitors staffing levels and workloads, provides coaching and mentoring, and participates in performance reviews.
** We are seeking a PIP Team Lead I, II, or Associate Manager to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead and manage a team of 7-10 PIP Adjusters with varying levels of experience. If you're based in the Eastern Time Zone and have a background in PIP claims or leadership experience, apply with us today! **
Key Responsibilities

• Oversees complex and occasionally highly complex claims involved in appraisal, arbitration, or mediation

• Oversees complex and occasionally highly complex specialized claims (e.g., business interruption, loss of income, E&O policies)

• Oversees complex and occasionally highly complex claims that include Public Adjuster involvement

• Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process

• Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes

• Advanced knowledge of all regional construction types and related repair methodologies

• Frequently conducts targeted file examining, including performing ride-alongs or sit-alongs

• Frequently conducts calibrations with vendors or staff

• Communicates verbally or in writing about claim processes/procedures with other employees, leaders, and teams

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job has supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is:

Team Lead I: $75,000 - $82,203.

Team Lead II: $83,000 - $91,828.

Associate Manager: $90,000 - $109,406.

And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
