Job summary

Keep Company is hiring its first dedicated data hire to build and own the analytical data foundation, including data movement from source systems to trusted member-centric datasets, reporting, and early predictive use cases. You will partner with Product and Engineering to define signals, build infrastructure, and evaluate how models can improve matching, recommendations, and intervention decisions.

The initial focus is on pipelines, data modeling, instrumentation, and data quality, with growth

Qualifications

• 4-6 years hands-on experience in data engineering, product analytics, decision science and/or data science at a tech company.
• Experience with transformation tooling such as dbt and building reliable ingestion/transform pipelines.
• Deep SQL fluency and experience designing and maintaining warehouse data models.
• Experience with messy, incomplete, inconsistent, or historically unstandardized data.
• Strong background in designing well-powered A/B tests, diagnosing bias/variance, and interpreting results in real-world conditions.
• Ability to translate business questions into durable datasets, metrics, reporting and decision tools.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to define instrumentation and turn product behavior into usable data.
• Working knowledge of statistics, experimentation, clustering, matching, and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical data foundation including warehouse, transformations, pipelines, data quality and documentation.
• Establish trusted data sources and durable datasets for internal and in-product use.
• Build and maintain data pipelines across inputs like WorkOS/HRIS, CSVs, surveys, and platform activity.
• Develop reusable measurement layers and reporting products rather than one-off analyses.
• Create reporting that shows relationship participation, engagement, matching quality, and program outcomes.
• Define product instrumentation and what signals to capture for dashboards and decision-making.
• Lead strategy for moving from descriptive analytics to predictive and recommendation capabilities.
• Develop experiments and evaluation plans for model-backed features with baselines and success criteria.
