Job summary

Doctronic is hiring its first dedicated data engineer to own data movement from production systems into a trusted lakehouse and warehouse. You will build CDC pipelines, implement dbt transformations, and ensure secure data access across teams including AI, product, and finance.

You will design a robust data architecture with clear data layers and governance, enabling reliable analytics, dashboards, and model training support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of production data platforms.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency; experience building ELT/CDC pipelines.
• Hands-on with lakehouse/warehouse stacks (S3, Iceberg, Snowflake) and transformation/orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Build CDC pipelines from production databases to lake + warehouse.
• Stand up dbt-based transformations for core metrics from tested models.
• Choose and implement an orchestration tool with automated pipeline health alerts.
• Design access controls for PHI and HIPAA compliance; anonymization pipelines.
• Create a governed copy of production data for analytics, finance, and AI teams.
• Support AI data needs for model training and analytics dashboards.
