Job summary

Milam’s Markets in Pinecrest, FL is seeking skilled meat cutters to cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to company standards. You will also prepare specialty items and merchandise products to maximize freshness and appeal.

Qualifications

• Experience as butcher or meat cutter preferred.
• Strong meat cutting skills and knowledge of meat cuts.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to company standards.
• Prepare specialty items such as sausages, oven-ready products, and cured meats.
• Merchandise and display products to maximize freshness and visual appeal.
• Monitor product quality and minimize spoilage.
• Provide knowledgeable, courteous customer service and assist with custom orders.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support and mentor Meat Cutter Trainees when assigned.
• Complete opening and closing department duties as needed.
