Milam’s Markets Pinecrest is seeking skilled meat cutters in Pinecrest, FL to cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to our standards. You’ll also create specialty items, merchandise products, and assist customers with custom orders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to company standards.
• Prepare specialty items such as sausages, oven-ready products, and cured meats.
• Merchandise and display products to maximize freshness and visual appeal.
• Monitor product quality and minimize spoilage.
• Provide knowledgeable, courteous customer service and assist with custom orders.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support and mentor Meat Cutter Trainees when assigned.

Salary Range: $20.50 - $23.50 Hourly

What You’ll Do

• Cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to company standards
• Prepare specialty items such as sausages, oven-ready products, and cured meats
• Merchandise and display products to maximize freshness and visual appeal
• Monitor product quality and minimize spoilage
• Provide knowledgeable, courteous customer service and assist with custom orders
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Complete opening and closing department duties as needed

Work Environment

This role involves working in refrigerated areas and on the sales floor. You’ll be on your feet throughout your shift, handling fresh meat products and using cutting equipment in a dynamic environment.
