Job summary

Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC is seeking a Simulator Technician to conduct technical analysis and support for the F-35 Pilot and Maintainer Training Devices. The role includes troubleshooting, providing technical solutions, and preparing devices for customer use.

The candidate will act as the local on-site representative and must maintain DoD 8570 Level IAT-II certification, with the ability to work closely with customers and vendors in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Security Plus certification is REQUIRED.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings/schematics.
• Fault isolation and problem analysis at subsystem level.
• Experience with military fighter aircraft preferred.
• Knowledge of CATIA & S/SEE environment.
• Previous Field Service FSE/REP experience.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Simulator Technicians report directly to the Lead Simulator Technician and are responsible for conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to F-35 Pilot and Maintainer Training Devices in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.

The Simulator Technician also:

• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues with the training devices
• Determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications
• Recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution
• Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications
• Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives
• Readies training devices for customer use and assists with mission specific preparations
• Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization
• Maintain DoD 8570 Level IAT-II certification

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document all unusual operational/maintenance problems to support identifying failure trends
• Work with and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant interface with customer personnel at all levels
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to establish and maintain a library of technical documentation
• Manage and track multiple engineering and logistic support activities, providing periodic status to the customer and program management team

SUGGESTED MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

This position is located at a facility that will require special access clearance.

• Must have an active secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 6 years
• Must be able to attain and maintain F-35 Special Access Program (SAP) access
• Must be a US citizen
