Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Technical Writer in Hershey, PA to develop pilot plant equipment training materials and operator instructions. You will work closely with R&D, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and EHS to ensure materials align with existing policies and procedures.

The role prioritizes clear instructional content, supports the LMS and Adobe Creative Cloud, and requires documenting procedures with an emphasis on learner focus and safety.

Qualifications

• Three consecutive years of food manufacturing experience at the same facility when possible.
• Training content creation is a must; technical or operational skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create training materials and work instructions for Pilot Plant equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Operations and EHS to ensure policy alignment.
• Capture video and photography to support LMS and Adobe Creative Cloud learning programs.
• Standardize content structure and operator competency requirements.
• Provide follow-up evaluations to confirm skill retention and refresh training.
• Assist with additional training center tasks as needed.
• Work with SMEs to simplify content and focus on learner needs.
• Prioritize content creation to meet development milestones.
• Observe SME procedures to verify accuracy and identify gaps.
