Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering with a chemical, metallurgical, or mechanical specialization.
• Registered or ability to register as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Nevada.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in metallurgical operations.

Responsibilities

• This role will have two phases to begin with: construction and operations; expect fast pace and self-direction.
• During construction: attend HAZOP studies, write SOPs, manage crew, lead toolbox talks, perform hazard assessments, maintain schedule, manage work orders and logistics.
• During operations: supervise operations and maintenance teams, operate equipment as needed, input and manage process data, assist analytics, optimize flowsheets, schedule sample analysis with labs, and accommodate night shifts.
