Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years downstream or related plant operator experience.
• Ability to follow minimal instructions and support safe work practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; collaborative mindset.
• Flexible with day-to-day duties; adapt to startup environment.
• Familiarity with fermentation/downstream processes and equipment.
• Basic PC skills; Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Interface with process development to support fermentation and product isolation tasks.
• Execute downstream purification operations including centrifugation, chromatography, filtration.
• Set up, operate, and clean process equipment such as columns, tanks, and filtration systems.
• Collect, label, and process in‑process and final product samples.
• Monitor process parameters and maintain batch documentation.
• Perform cleaning and sterilization of equipment and cleanroom areas (CIP/SIP).
• Assist in deviation investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with upstream and quality departments to ensure product quality.
• Maintain DSP consumables inventory and request resupply as needed.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies; maintain PPE as required.
