Job Summary Details:

The Shuttle Driver transports passengers to and from designated locations. These may include airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses, depending on contractual needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• May require a CDL with specific class and endorsement

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Transport, load, and unload passengers at designated locations
• Ensure safe loading and unloading, including handling specialized equipment for passengers with needs (e.g., wheelchair lifts)
• Assist passengers with luggage as needed
• Perform vehicle inspections regularly for safety and maintenance issues; conduct routine cleaning and maintenance
• Assist patrons needing help at airports and parking lots
• Inspect shuttles for damage, record information using electronic devices or manual logs
• Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously to inquiries, and give directions
• Enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities when necessary
• Report incidents or claims immediately to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and logs
• Maintain a clean environment, disinfect shuttle after each use
• Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
