Barnhart Transportation seeks an Escort Driver in North East, PA to support oversize load operations. You will communicate with the manager, coordinate driver meeting points, and relay critical load and permit information.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, trucking/escort experience, and strong communication. You will handle log entries, stay detail-focused, and work independently with long driving hours as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with manager and follow instructions on being dispatched on oversize loads
• Communicate with drivers about meeting time and location
• Relay load and permit information to manager
• Bookkeeping of hours, fuel, hotels, food, mileage, etc.
• Long hours of driving
• Calling out all necessary distances, routes, restrictions, cars, etc. for driver
• Obtain NY certificate if not already obtained
• Continuous training, learning, education as needed
• Maintain working relationships with drivers
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Trucking or Escorting experience
• Knowledge of distances, measurements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
