Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a field operator to run the PD10 machine and drive piles for solar installations. You will assist with pile installation, coordinate with crew signals, and perform routine maintenance while following all safety policies and procedures.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working flexible schedules including nights and weekends, and ensuring the proper handling of equipment and materials on outdoor worksites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Ability to work in varied environments and flexible hours including nights/weekends.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a PD10 Machine to drive/position piles without damaging equipment.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of piles and solar array components.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and ensure safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment; ensure proper care of supplies.
