BODYROK Tampa is seeking an experienced Fitness Director to lead our instructor team and elevate the member experience.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing instructors, maintaining high standards, and delivering an exceptional boutique Pilates environment in a fast-paced studio. You will mentor staff, oversee scheduling, and partner with ownership on growth initiatives while staying connected with members.

Qualifications

• Strong Pilates/fitness industry experience and leadership.
• Proven ability to develop instructors and build a team culture.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Highly organized, proactive, and accountable.
• Attention to detail and high standards in service.
• Focus on creating an elevated member experience.
• Balance leadership with hands-on studio involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop our instructor team.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and coach instructors.
• Conduct class audits and provide ongoing feedback.
• Maintain high standards for class quality, safety, and member experience.
• Oversee instructor scheduling, substitutions, and coverage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the instructional team.
• Lead instructor meetings and continuing education.
• Monitor attendance, member feedback, retention, and instructor performance.
• Partner with ownership on studio growth and retention initiatives.
• Oversee studio equipment needs and maintain a safe, polished environment.
• Teach a set number of classes weekly and stay connected to members.
