Job summary

BODYROK Tampa is seeking an experienced Fitness Director to lead our instructor team and elevate member experiences within a fast-paced boutique Pilates environment. This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing people, maintaining high standards, and delivering exceptional class experiences.

You will recruit, train, audit classes, manage schedules, and partner with ownership on growth and retention initiatives while using Mindbody, NetGym, and ClassPass to support operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Pilates/fitness leadership experience and people management.
• Proven ability to coach and develop instructors and teams.
• Clear, professional communication and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high standards for class quality.
• Committed to elevating the member experience and studio culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop our instructor team and Lead Instructor Team.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and coach instructors.
• Conduct class audits and provide ongoing feedback and development.
• Maintain high standards for class quality, programming, safety, and member experience.
• Oversee instructor scheduling, substitutions, and coverage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the instructional team.
• Lead instructor meetings and continuing education.
• Monitor class attendance, member feedback, retention, and instructor performance.
• Partner with ownership and management on studio growth and retention initiatives.
• Oversee studio equipment needs and maintain a safe, polished environment.
• Use Mindbody, NetGym, and ClassPass to support instructors and operations.
• Teach a set number of classes weekly and stay connected with members.
