Ymcaokc is seeking a dedicated Pilates Instructor to lead engaging group classes and guide members toward their fitness goals. The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and personalized coaching to help clients improve technique and performance.

The organization promotes community wellness and offers opportunities for growth. Candidates should hold Pilates certification, CPR/AED/First Aid, and have prior group-experience.

Formación

• Pilates instruction certification from a recognized organization.
• Experience teaching Pilates, preferably in a fitness or community setting.
• Must hold CPR, AED, O2 and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years old; High School education or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months or 60 hours of group exercise experience.
• Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise or National Certification.
• Within 6 months: Healthy Lifestyles.
• Within 12 months: YMCA Foundations.

Educación

Pilates certification from a recognized organization

6 months or 60 hours of group exercise class experience

18 years of age or older

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization
• Previous experience teaching Pilates classes, preferably in a fitness or community setting
• Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months or 60 hours of practical experience of group exercise class experience.
• Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles** and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise or National Certification***
