The YMCA in Edmond, OK is seeking a dedicated Pilates Instructor to lead engaging group classes that are safe and inclusive for members of varying fitness levels.

You will develop adaptable routines, provide guidance to improve technique, and help participants achieve their wellness goals while maintaining a clean studio and staying updated on best practices. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour with incentives for additional certifications.

Qualificações

• Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization.
• Previous experience teaching Pilates classes, preferably in a fitness or community setting.
• Must be CPR/AED, O2, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months or 60 hours of practical group exercise experience.
• Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise or National Certification.
• Within 6 months of hire date – Healthy Lifestyles.
• Within 12 months of hire date - YMCA Foundations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization
