Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor to support members by creating personalized programs and delivering private and group classes. You will guide safe training, perform assessments, and promote fitness services within our studio.

Role requires CPR/AED and Pilates certification, with a focus on member education and a commitment to cleanliness and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Pilates program design experience required.
• Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds and move between studios.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• College degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitor clients during training sessions for safe, effective use of equipment.
• Conduct fitness consultations including goal setting to tailor Pilates plans.
• Promote Pilates training programs and classes to members.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan.
• Maintain Pilates studio cleanliness and order.
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends.
• Educate members on current health and fitness topics.

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field

Pay

This position will be paid commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and the Team Member's productivity. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be at least applicable minimum wage for each hour worked.
