Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor to design client-focused programs and lead private and group Pilates sessions. The role emphasizes safe technique, program development, and delivering an engaging member experience in a health-focused environment.

Responsibilities include conducting consultations, promoting classes, handling administrative duties, and maintaining a clean studio. Candidates should hold a high school diploma and Pilates credentials, with CPR/AED certification

Qualifications

• Experience designing Pilates programs for clients.
• Ability to lead private and group Pilates sessions.
• Knowledge of equipment usage and safety during reformer/cadillac/chair/barrel sessions.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field

Pay

This position will be paid commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and the Team Member's productivity. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be at least applicable minimum wage for each hour worked.
