Job summary

Conservation Corps North Carolina, a program of Conservation Legacy, seeks AmeriCorps members to support piedmont state parks through trail reopening, maintenance and new construction. Based out of Bahama, NC, crews work 9 days on, 5 days off, with 10-hour days, camping, and meals provided, fostering professional growth and hands-on conservation experience.

Join a dedicated team dedicated to protecting NC lands, learning field skills, and serving public lands as part of a national conservation

Qualifications

• US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
• At least 17 years of age.
• Willingness to commit to the AmeriCorps program and a 40–50 hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Support reopening blocked trail corridors and trail maintenance.
• Assist with rock and rough timber construction and trail work.
• Work in a rugged outdoor setting, living outdoors with crew cooperation.
